So many things in my life. However, this week I am grateful for having lights and power. I am grateful for my wonderful husband who installed these little lights under our cabinets in the kitchen (love, love, love cooking even more now).

I am grateful for wonderful neighbors. Especially, the ones across the street who come and help us shovel out our driveway during snow storms, a mystery neighbor who shoveled our sidewalk, and our neighbor directly next door who came running to my side yesterday.
Yesterday, while shoveling I fell down on the ice and ended up fracturing my tailbone. At the time, I knew that it was serious because I immediately started crying and I just couldn't move. My neighbor from next door came running over in the snow to be by my side, along with my husband. They helped me up and inside.
I was so grateful and will remember that kind and helpful gesture for the rest of my life. I will be writing a thank you note and giving him a gift next week!
We ended up getting 33 inches of snow in our area. They are predicting another 10 to 20 inches tomorrow. I don't know where all of this snow is going to go. I think they may need to airlift this stuff out of here (just kidding).
This is my favorite picture from the other day.
Have you been helped in a time of need by a neighbor or stranger? I think there are SO many wonderful people out there.
